Our Sauna

Hand-crafted with pride in Northern Minnesota by Setri Barrel Saunas, our wood-fired sauna was built to heat up the harshest winters.  Constructed from premium grade A knotty western red cedar, it has an enjoyable scent and is naturally resistant to mold and fungus.  The barrel shape eliminates corners that trap heat and promotes better air circulation for more even heating. Setri barrel saunas also feature ventilation to provide fresh air.  Pour a little water on our volcanic sauna rocks and you'll experience the loyly (Finnish for sauna steam) that makes you glow! 

Our sauna is ready to hit the road and bring you a traditional Finnish sauna experience wherever you are in Southwest VA.   

 

Sauna Experiences

Private Sauna Rental - enjoy our sauna in the comfort and privacy of your own back yard.

  

  • 20-hour rental includes delivery*, setup and pickup, and one bundle of firewood. 

    • First day $325; Each additional day $195; Work week special (Monday thru Thursday) $800

    • * Delivery fee of $3.50/mile beyond 10 mile radius from Christiansburg   

  • Optional Add-ons:

    • Small cold plunge pod (you provide the water) ... free with sauna rental! ​

    • Larger cold plunge pod (you provide the water) ... $30/day (50% off each additional day)

    • Adirondack Chairs (2 included; up to 6) $25/day  (50% off each additional day)

    • Solo stove (Bonfire) ... $40 (50% off each additional day) 

    • Additional bundles of wood  ... $15  (each good for 2-4 hrs of sauna) 

    • 30 lbs of ice ... $20

About us

If you're over 40 and you lift (or run, bike, swim or work!), you need more help with recovery than you once did.  If you prefer natural recovery methods, heat and cold exposure are at the top of the list - hence the sauna and cold plunge.  That is where we started, only to discover the social aspect of sauna -- it can actually be a good time! (even if you're not over 40)  And even though there are push-button options for sauna, we like the old way.  We feel like starting and feeding a wood fire helps you slow down and enjoy the experience a little more.  We are excited to share our traditional NORDIC sauna experience with you and your crew!
